About Us
Benchmark Ag is a vertically integrated company designed to crush soybeans using the expeller pressing method (see also terms), and producing two products:
- High By-pass Protein Soybean Meal (HBPSMTM) designed for the dairy cattle
- Soybean Oil - which can and will be marketed for the best return
Our expectation is that 70% of the revenue will come from the sale of the HBPSMTM, and 30% will be derived from the sale of soybean oil.
To facilitate the production of the High By-pass Protein Soybean Meal (HBPSMTM), Benchmark Ag is developing a research strategy with the Animal Nutrition Department at the University of Minnesota. These discussions are leading to a Benchmark Ag funded program to develop a proprietary process for the production of HBPSMTM feed for the dairy industry.
The company intends to utilize the resources of such outside services as the University of Minnesota and industry consultants to develop our business model, marketing strategy, and engineering design of the equipment and plant.
